I was one of those ‘fear of the gym’ types. I took a leap and signed up with FC Morayfield and am so glad I did. The facilities and layout are great, the vibe works, and there is enough equipment to go around. But, the people is what makes this place…both customers and staff. A very comfortable feel; non-judgemental. The staff are fantastic. They call you by name and are helpful. My PT (Ashlee) is amazing! She has helped me to understand how to keep my body healthy and strong, and motivates me to push myself to my limits. My Nutrition Consultant (Thyago) helps to keep me on track with my goals…knowledgeable and committed to supporting people to get where they want to be. Overall, I am very happy that I took that leap. The Manager Scott , thank you for your up most help in helping me and my daughter join in with ease. Also the friendly and helpful instructors in the early morning group workouts like Grit- Brad, Rpm- Sam & Jo, Sprint- Sam, Body pump- super awesome Kristy, Boxfit- Julian and lastly awesome Alisha in Sha'bam. These wonderful people are the hard work behind motivating people like me to turn up. They are caring , encouraging , motivating in helping you to reach that goal in fitness and lastly make you feel the sense of belonging in Genesis and that you don't want to leave. Thank you for that great experience. You all are too awesome and are the reason why this gym runs the way it is and it is the BEST and for sure it gets a super 5 Rating from me. Ive been a member at genesis morayfield since 2015. The staff/trainers/creche staff are awesome and very welcoming as soon as you walk in. Always greeted with big smiles, goodmornings and see yas everyday. Its not intimidating and the people that go there are friendly and nice. The gym has a good variety of equipment. A good range of Classes. The Sauna is awesome. Amenities are great. Its really good having a creche there aswell that has mornings, afternoons and saturday sessions. Its a really awesome gym thats why ive stayed so long and my kids enjoy creche aswell. ~ Ruby C

I started with Genesis just under a year ago and could not ask for a better gym. The staff and Personal Trainers are just amazing. I love all the classes they have especially Zumba and shazam. I have recommended to 3 of my friends and they all have started with Genesis and they are loving it. Thanks again to my PT Andrew and all the team at Genesis. Also to the manager Scott for all your helping and understanding with my membership after having an accident 8 wks ago on my way home from work that has stopped me from going to the gym. I've always felt very welcomed at Genesis. Everyone is really lovely - the staff always greet you as you come in the door & the PT's are awesome! This gym has the healthiest atmosphere and is accomodating for everyone who could be new or familiar with working out at a gym. The facilities are amazing and are always extremely clean. It is a huge gym that even during peak hours has enough room for everyone to socially distance. The classes are my favourite part about this gym. They offer so many classes that are amazing and fit with my full-time schedule well. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else! ~ ISLAH P

Camilla at fitness cartel Morayfield has always been welcoming kind very supportive and always helped me out with whatever problems or questions that I had always has a smile and picks up your mood with amazing energy and all the other staff members are amazing too they're always ready to help or answer any questions that you have Fitness card tell Morayfield is an amazing gym and it is well run but I have bonded with Camilla and she has listened to my problems and she is such a fantastic staff member and person in general ~ Anthony A

Every time I walk in the staff are so friendly and always greet me and say goodbye when I leave. They are very helpful whenever I have needed something. The facility is clean and modern. I am a class girly so I always attend the Les Mills classes and reformer Pilates. The instructors are amazing, they encourage but do not make you feel like you suck just because you can’t do the high levels, as long as your moving they’re happy. The workouts always change up and are as interactive as you want them to be 😊 ~ Jacqui F

Since around April I have been seeing the nutritionist here and he’s been helping with me reaching my goals. Thanks to Thyago I have lost 600grams of body fat in a month and half. Thanks to him I have better understanding of supplements and what to take and how to balance my diet. I would highly recommend Fitness Cartel not just because of the free nutritional advice but because the staff are always welcoming and friendly. If you’re new to the gym and don’t know where to start Fitness Cartel has the staff to help put you on the right track. ~ Benjamin P

Great gym, it had been a long time since joining a gym, therefore I was a bit hesitant. The staff at reception were very reassuring and gave great information to start me off. I immediately loved the atmosphere and didn't feel uncomfortable with the ladies only area and the layout of the entire cardio section. I have attended a few classes already, body balance and yoga, both trainers were very welcoming and encouraging. All-in-all, a positive experience and I can't wait to really get fit and strong! ~ Loretta A

I was a member years ago and felt like a number and was always struggling to get on to equipment due to large numbers, but I've just rejoined since my previous gym felt the same and the whole dynamic of Genesis Morayfield has changed. Everyone is lovely, the gym has a great energy about it. It's not hard to get on to equipment and everyone remembers your name. If fact the club manager called out to say hello to me today. I am a brand new gym user and was really nervous to join a gym in fear that I would be judged. I bit the bullet and headed in.. the staff have been wonderful, the gym is super clean and everyone seems lovely. I decided I would give a few classes a go and started with a Bodypump class. I felt so uneasy but the second I walked in the door I was greeted with smiling faces and a really encouraging instructor Kirsten who guided me through it and even took some time to share some tips after the class. This is the best gym I have ever joined. I have been a member for 6 months. Initially I started with group fitness classes and gym workouts. 10 weeks ago I also upgraded my membership to include the Coaching Zone classes. Absolute best decision ever! All the staff and trainers are amazing - so encouraging and helpful. The fellow members are friendly and really welcoming. Been the best move for me. I wanted to be at a club where I felt excited to go to and comfortable at, and I've had all that and more. Highly recommended! ~ Robyn D

I instantly felt comfortable once I walked through the door at Genesis Morayfield. I was warmly welcomed and the gym has a great atmosphere. Tarnia showed me around and I didn't even have to think about signing up, I couldn't wait to get started. I needed creche with a gym membership and so far it has been great, the girls are awesome with my 6month old. The equipment and spaces are amazing and I've just started booking into classes. I started at Genesis as a campus to help lead me on my path to becoming a personal trainer, the staff there have been more than helpful with everything and definitely know what they’re talking about. I have been attending Genesis for almost two years now & I can honestly say no gym compares! Whether you enjoy working out on your own or attending group sessions, Genesis has something for everyone. Honestly there is nothing I didn't love about my time at Genesis (I was truly sad to leave & I am sure I WILL be back!). Genesis Morayfield has been recently revamped with every bit of modern gym equipment you can name, coupled with a fantastic gym culture, a great atmosphere, wonderful staff (miss you guys) and encouraging gym users you can't help but feel right at home. There are an abundance of classes and if you want to step it up give the Coaching Zone a try. 10 out 10! ~ Shirley T

For the first time i can say I enjoy going to the gym! Genesis Morayfield is always cleanly and i am always greeted walking through the door. I do a mixture of their classes and workouts on the floor. The instructors in the classes are fantastic and are a part of the reason i keep going back, my favorite being Body Pump with Kirsten. I have also made some friendships with other mums attending the gym. Overall a great gym catering to a range of needs. ~ Jessica D

Good gym. Signed up when it was Genesis. However the sauna door broke down and apparently they all blamed me for breaking the door but they can’t get any security proof. I did not break the door, why blame me lol? You can put any lie detection test or software and I’ll pass it a million times, I am an innocent man. I will come back here when you guys find out who did the door down and can stop blaming me 🤣 ~ John N

i was very afraid of going to the gym as i am overweight so it takes alot for me to go to the gym. a blonde girl ive never seen before said to me that i was like a fat lard of butter and i needed to work harder to be the best version of me. i think that definately crossed a line considering shes not someone ive ever seen before and i diddnt know them. but im still giving 5 stars as its a very good place, just that one incident ~ john p

I have just joined Genesis at Morayfield to participate in the Allied Health Program run by DVA for ex-service people. I chose this gym as it has a DVA representative at the gym which makes organising the paperwork much easier. Also unlike the last gym I attended who only allowed you entry for the allocated DVA sessions, Genesis Morayfield allows 24/7 access as part of their program. This says to me that they are interested in helping ex-service people and are not just in it for the money. I found my DVA appointed trainer to be both friendly and professional and instructed me in the use of the many and varied pieces of equipment available for use at the gym. She also sends an email to remind me of our appointments. While the carpark gets pretty full at times it appears to be for the many group classes available and not so much for the equipment so there is no shortage of available equipment to use. The gym also has a sauna which I am very interested in using once I get myself organised. So far I am very pleased with the gym and have no hesitation in recommending it to other ex-service people or civilians for that matter. ~ Kevin M

I have been going to Genesis at Morayfield for about 2 years and in that time I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to assist you. Sam is my instructor for Pilates and she is amazing, making the class fun whilst exercising and enjoying yourself. I think she is the reason why so many of us join her classes each week. ~ Debbie R
